A huge thank you to everyone who came along and donated prizes to our Trivia Night Fundraiser, your generosity and contributions gave our Junior athletes Kyl Juler & Josh King the opportunity of a life time to compete over on the World Stage!
A Total of $6735.15 was raised to go toward the kids travel! With this we were able to pay for both Josh and Kyl to Attend the IFMA Youth World Championships in Bangkok – August 2018.
Kyl & Josh headed over to Thailand last month, with professionalism and heart both boys represented not only Urban, but Australia with pride.
Our boys put on excellent performances, Kyl coming away with a points loss against Belarus and Josh put on a beautiful technical display against a Thai opponent, with the judges favouring the win to his opponent.
The whole of Urban are very proud of these two boys who have established themselves as strong young athletes at the highest level in Australian Muay Thai.
Our upcoming Urban Fundraising events we will be sponsoring our athletes to compete at the Arafura Games in Darwin – May 2019. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events! Stay tuned!
