This weekend saw the 2015 Australian Muay Thai Awards held in Sydney. People from around Australia flew in for a night of celebration in the name of Muaythai.
Urban’s own Josh King won the Kids Fighter of the Year award! A big congratulations to young Joshy who has had 7 fights for 6 wins and has recently won Gold at the IFMA World Championships and Gold at the Australian National Championships in October this year.
Also up for nominations from Urban were Melina Yung for Pro Female Fighter of the Year, Nathan Corbett for Inspirational / Ambassador of the year and retaining his title as Sexiest Male Fighter of the Year which he also won at the 2013 Awards. We also had Jack Kearney up for nomination in Kids Fighter of Year category. Well done to all our fighters who were nominated this year for their hard work and dedication to our sport in 2015.
